I met Gareth through a mutual friend of ours, Dennis Evans.
They both used to support our monthly coffee mornings in ST David’s Church, even after Dennis passed away, Gareth still used to support the event.
Afterwards my friend and I used to meet Gareth out shopping and he would always have a friendly word to say to us both.
Gareth was a true gentleman and will be sadly missed by his family and friends. R.I .P. Gareth.

I first met Gareth at Ysgol Friars when he would come to visit his English students on teaching practice. Many years later, I would sometimes bump into him in Tesco or on Bangor High Street. He was always a charming gentleman.
